Holmes won the JV. NCC took a lead late, but gave it right back up. I believe it was about a seven point margin.

Minus the 1st quarter, this was a 2 point game. NCC had plenty of shots in the paint that would not drop. They make a few of these, and it is a much closer game.

Disagree with the 36th going through the Birds. NCC will be the favorite to win this. They beat Highlands on their home floor. The district being at NCC should play in their favor as well. Newport has come along way this year. I think the cats will beat the birds with Darnell having a huge game. On another note, what happened to the Camels? Everytime I long on, I see them losing to someone.:idunno:

I have to go with NCC in an upset. I predicted the Holmes loss on Friday the 13th (before they lost to Boone). They are vulnerable right now, they know they can be beat. NCC has had their number lately. I don't think NCC will be out rebounded as bad as some of you guys think. Looking forward to the game.

You left out Jake Ollberding for NCC. 6'3. In place of Conner.

Glad to hear he is OK. No matter what the outcome, I want to see NCC (Friday night)play Holmes with all their weapons.

Kudos to EC on playing some tougher competition. Their 30+ point margin will not apply in these two games. I will have to join ETA on the wagon if they win both these games. Good Luck EC.

Jake is the Center, Matt is the shooter. I believe Brossart will have trouble on the boards. Reiger will have his hands full with J. Geisler. Brossart will have to be hot from 3-land to stay in this game.

I would love to see the Birds get a BIGGGGGGG win. It will not happen. Dawgs win by a dozen.

I watched both play in the Lex-cath tourney. I would have to pick Lexington Catholic, but would not be surprised to see a much better showing or even a victory by GRC this time.

NCC knocked St. Henry out of the ALL-A, does St. Henry get a little pay back? Thoughts.

I agree with Elliott being over rated. I have seen quite a few ball games this year, Elliott is just one of the average teams when outside the 16th.
