Newcath travels to Covington to take on the Dogs Friday night.

Holmes comes in 23-2 after a tough loss on the road to Boone.

Newcath comes in 13-8 but hasn't played in nearly a week since their win over Brossart.

Holmes will be very focused and play well.

Newcath has traditionally played Holmes tough in recent years, but I don't think it will be much of a game this year with Holmes coming off a loss. Holmes size and athleticism should be the difference in the game, as I see Newcath having a tough time rebounding with them which will create second and third shots for Holmes while limiting NCC to "one and done's."

Holmes 59

Newcath 42

Unlike Boone NC doesn't have the size , strength, and athletic ability on the perimeter to stop Holmes from penetrating. Therefore, Holmes by 15+.

You left out Jake Ollberding for NCC. 6'3. In place of Conner.

I have to go with NCC in an upset. I predicted the Holmes loss on Friday the 13th (before they lost to Boone). They are vulnerable right now, they know they can be beat. NCC has had their number lately. I don't think NCC will be out rebounded as bad as some of you guys think. Looking forward to the game.

I'll be cheering for NCC but I think Holmes has too many guns to stop.

But than again--That's why the play the games!

Holmes will be focused, the won't come out flat, and Henley and the boys will be in complete bounce back mode against a severly out matched opponent. Holmes wins by 20+ coming off of the loss in florence tuesday.

Covington Holmes by 11.

IMO they're less vulnerable because of that loss. Had Holmes beaten Boone, I'd probably agree with you, but no way Holmes loses two in a row. They know if they don't bring their "A" game they'll lose, so I'd expect them to come out firing on all cylinders.

Any word on whether Pittman will play this weekend or not?
