  1. Me too. But before I get to complamentery I wan't to see how he picks my team next week!
  2. Isn't J-towns coach a first year guy?
  3. Extreme pressure on the QB, screens were well read all night, tackling was great, and the offense ran the ball extremely well and threw well when they needed to. Great game my the whole bunch. GO CATS!
  4. I don't know who Alvis Johnson is by I hope he validates my point.
  5. Threre isn't a big shortage at HC either.
  6. I don't think there is any way to deny the coaching ability of a two time state champ.I am sure there have been coaches with D-1 caliber players year after year who have never won a state championship.
  7. Sound's like Henry is going to need to pressure the QB to win. I think they can.
  8. I enjoy checking the rankings as much as any body, but it seems kind of wierd to have teams that have already been beaten ranked above teams that are still in the playoffs. In most cases anyway.
  9. I hate to go against either one of these teams. Hills has the ability to when this game but how do you go against Central with a playoff record like they have at home? This should be a very hard fought game if Hills can keep it close throughout. Still can't make up my mind on the winner.
  10. How does E-town look on the O-line.
  11. I coached youth league for 8 years. The more success the highschool team has the more numbers and exitement are generated in the youth. I feel like in alot of cases the system works in reverse.
  12. Henry won't be denied in this one.
  13. Hill's has got a bunch of hard nose kids, I don't see them letting this one slip away at home.
  14. Very impresive. Sounds like total domination.
  15. Henry should come out of this one with a big win.
  16. About the time I take pride in my team being ranked in the top ten I start reading threads like this. I don't like to admit it but HC did get beat by a touchdown by a team that the #1 2A team beat by 50. I think the top 2 or 3 in every class are generaly a lot better than teams ranked just below. Thank goodness we have a playoff system where most of these things are answered on the field.
  17. The only reason I went with Anderson is because of the way they whipped HC and I thought OC and HC were very closely matched according to the pre season scrimmage. That obviously wasn't a very good barometer. I'll go with OC in the upset on this one.
  18. Do they have any common opponents?
  19. Go Cats. Keep it rolling.
  20. Evidently the Hills O Line did a fabulous job. I didn't expect such a lop sided game.
  21. Oldham did not look early in the year nearly as good as Anderson. They obviously are a better team now, but Anderson had a more dominant air about them for most of the season. I am shocked but not unhappy. Congrats OC.
  22. I don't know a thing about Raceland but I love Russells old school aproach to the game. It just proves you don't have to be to complex to be competitve year in and year out.
