Final.

WOW!!! Shut out the offense of E-town? Never saw this coming.

Like I said, you can't live by the screen and have nothing else. E-town couldn't run outside or inside. When the QB dropped backed to pass he was sacked! Hats off to the Defense of H.C. Like OL#70 said " DEFENSE wins championships". Bring on Central.

I did not think the HC D would play this well vs. Todd and company.

wild said it...you can't beat a good defense with just the screen pass. Etown was fortunate against North last week and broke a few screens for long gains. But when their OL just didn't protect Todd much on the longer-developing pass plays.

Sounds like tonight, they weren't able to break any screens, and they needed for them to work in order for anything else to develop.

That's the way Ledford.

Extreme pressure on the QB, screens were well read all night, tackling was great, and the offense ran the ball extremely well and threw well when they needed to. Great game my the whole bunch. GO CATS!

Great job to the Wildcats on a big win! The defense was running on all cylinders. Keep their motors running Coach Ledford! Number 11 is a beast! :taz:

Great job Wildcats. The Defense set the tone early while the Offense scored real early and then drove it late for the clincher. Should be a slobberknocker next Fri. at Central. Get em ready. Gotta shut down #2 Coach Ledford. :thumb:

Thanks jvdfc! Dont forget to bundle up friday. We need to get our travel gear ready.:walk:

Very happy for the Wildcats and Coach Engstrand. He has really done a great job with the program. HUGE test this week with Central!!! Get it done guys!!!

HC was picked pre-season to be last in the district. Good job by Engstrand and Company to make these kids into a great team.

Very true, but I didn't see a single pre-season ranking that didn't say the Wildcats - despite being picked fourth - could very easily wind up first and the favorite (Western Hills) last. Everyone knew this district race was going to be a wild one.

Good luck next week, Wildcats!
