Central 56 Spencer County 36

Featured Replies

If those were late points by Spencer County, then okay. If not, 3A could very well be wide open.

Congrats to Central. I know it is tough losing a starting QB in week 10.

I didn't know that. Is his loss for good, or will he return?

I heard broken leg.

That's a shame. I'm sure they've got a capable backups, but you hate to see a kid miss out on the postseason.

We'll see.

Central still team to beat! QB or no QB.

I'm not so sure about that.

What is it with QBs in week 10? Mason County, North Oldham, Central - all lost QBs the last week of the season in 3A...

I heard Spencer County was only down by a touchdown going into the fourth quarter.

Central is still the team to beat there line is a little suspect, but the athletes they have on the outside are better then any 3A team can compete against.

Agreed.

There is a a reason there is a reason there back to back champs. They will find a way to win. The last 2 seasons they have played a 14-0 in the final game.

I'm sure Coach SCroggins has weapons in his offense to help take up the slack.

From the KHSAA stats, looks like they moved Bolden to QB. The only thing he did was run for 150 yards on 15 carries. Chris King will be missed but Bolden looks to be ready for the job.

I agree with your thoughts, Central is battle tested and they will be well prepared for whomever they face in the 3A playoffs.

Note: Belfry was 14-0 in 2007, but Breathitt Co was 12-2 in 2008 when Central faced them in the finals.
