What adversity has LO had to overcome?

Ridiculous question..... If playing or even care about trying to play football, the weight room never stops.

In reality the only real recognition anyone gave Rees McShara was by his own teammates, by winning the championship. Rees is a great back and good kid. I suspect whoever signs him get a winner. As for the border bowl, its a nice effort by some folks to promote football. Obviously, if you have Hayden, McShara and others in the backfield you run the ball and then you run it some more. The QB for our team could have been a 3rd string backup and it should have gone just fine. Does anyone really care about the border bowl, its played outside in January, therefore the answer is no. Should we care, probably not, if we coach the game as bad as it sounds, we shouldn't waste a players time and risk injury if we put a product like that on the field. If Rees couldn't benefit from a game like this, who can? Lots of time, money and effort has to go into to this thing and with three days practice who really wins anything.

Whoever gets this guy, gets a winner. He is one the rising stars in KY coaching.

Some of the other county teams can't do what Belfry and Pikeville do each year. Every once in a while, maybe....but the other county schools would get whipped... Fact is, who is going to drive back to the mountains to watch any of the other county schools play? I'd say no one. In fact, if Pikeville doesn't get it turned around...the entire bowl is in jeopardy.

I think only top 2 teams in each district should go to playoffs...this would also fix the overlap problem and fix a huge problem with the competitive level in the first two weeks of the playoffs.

I agree. Press box is very bad. Parking was odd. Perhaps there was no cost because there was no organization involved. I think EKU should get a shot. I do think Louisville is too big for the feel of a championship HS game. WKU or EKU are just right.

Royals are a good team. But you are right. Luck doesn't describe what Danville gave them. I have never seen a team self-destruct like they did. I believe I wished them luck the rest of the way....but hey..they don't need it.

I'd say there is hangover this morning in Maysville. Like I said earlier, Indians pounded them...that is a fact. Royals got points, another fact and the one that counts. Good luck to them the rest of the way.

Are you even questioning this matter? Maybe these foster parents are doing the best they can and hopefully they are teaching him that high school last 4 years, that is it. Hopefully, they provide him normalcy beyond football.

Indians beat them everywhere except where it counts. Indians let them have the second half KO returned for a TD. Then let then scoop and score on a backfield fumle. Indians had 2 TD passes dropped in the endzone on the last drive of the game and did not score in the first half on a fumble inside the 10. It was 7-7- at the half. Should have been 14-7 at worst....Indians let them get a long pass off just before the half. If Royals don't get 3 big plays, they get beat in this one.

I agree. Haywoods teams start slow. I can see P-Burg being up for this one and Belfry being flat. I also hear this BHS team is not getting the attention previous teams have. It should be a great one.

I know the Boyle fans won't believe this...but JC will have more team speed than Boyle does.

Those are very basic football terms. You may want to get some DVD's to help you along the way.

Fair enough...I talked about how well JC runs their offense...and they do. But Mcshara is for real if he gets into the 2nd level. I think JC's D Line will have all they want with McShara as well.
