  1. I hope Harlan picks up a highly competitive game that makes them a better team. Powell should have kept the game.
  2. Bad decision by Powell. This leaves the other school high and dry at this point. I hope Harlan picks up a highly competitive game.
  3. The family is moving. Its no big deal in my opinion. Good luck to Zollo and GRC. I don't think teams in the 10th region plan on giving them the trophy each year. Making it to the state tournament is tough, even in the 10th region. Coach Humprey will have a lot of talent to work with, but its hard to make it mesh sometimes.
  4. I would guess these three have a real chance to be leaders on the line as well as the entire team. The programs Coach Gooch has installed seems to be very productive in developing players as well as the team.
  5. That doesn't surprise me...although the folks that posted that $$ sure seemed to be in the know. I think you got a great coach for the job. If you look at old post....I thought the other would have been a disaster.
  6. I would agree that probably no one "from or directly" connected to GRC contacted this family.
  7. From outsider looking in, if BC was willing to offer Guy Morriss $100k+ to coach, it would seem raising the money for turf would be easy at BC. But I also know things are rarely as they seem and raising money is never easy.
  8. Good luck to him if that is his choice. I don't think he has the height for BB. Is he a lights out shooter or something?
  9. News reported Estill's coach is having some issues.
  10. This statement is very dangerous if this isn't based on fact. I can't see any facts here, all seems to be hearsay.
  11. True statement. Only the teams playing in the game will be there on Friday night. No one from outside the county will drive to see the undercard games. The Pike Bowl is finding itself on a slow descent.
  12. Check out Montgomery county at http://www.mcindiansfootball.com
  13. That is awesome. He was great at the TB spot.
  14. The right person will win at Dunbar.
  15. I know their are family connections...but that sure is a big family and they are all athletic.
  16. Late 70's and early 80's he was the head coach at Williamson High School in Williamson, WV. Won several state titles there.
  17. Hatcher is not an average coach, he is a great coach.
  18. Who is in the Indians lineup?
  19. I will be the first to say, I have seen Lou. Central play tough and I have seen them roll over. Overall, they are tough. Even with all the losses they had last year, for the most part they played everyone competitively, except for the Johnson Central loss. They can be beat, but now they will play with a little more confidence...or at least they should.
  20. Who will be running the QB slot for the Dogs?
  21. I can't disagree with your comment above. I think its fair to the player to no longer bring it up. He is a frosh.
  22. Stenzel is enrolled as a frosh at GRC and he will be there (unless he ends up a prep school) for the next 3 years. There is no reason to attempt to discredit his play. He will likely be around the 10th for 3 more seasons and he will only get better every day. Everybody needs to deal with that one and raise their level of play.
  23. It shows...Mason is a physical team.
