10th Region Tourney Host
No way. Besides it was considered to be a 40 point win.

Montgomery Co. 71 Pendleton Co. 42 (10th Region 1st Round)
Strange evening....I agree with the above post. MC had many positives but some of the offensive rebounds were created off missed layups. Clark played with a lot of heart. He had the best focus on the team tonight. Again, I agree, Indians are yet to peak.

10th Region Tourney Host
That is true. I hope Pendleton's crowd shows up tonight.

10th Region Tourney Host
I heard the first session was slightly higher this year. Not sure about the second session. In the third session, I believe its Scott and Augusta. That will be a small crowd.

Paris Football Coach Resigns
Name the sport, if you don't hit the IRON hard you will not succeed. If you don't know the difference between weightlifting and staying active, "you have never put your hand in the dirt".

Ashland 51 Bath Co. 46 (16th region, 1st rd.)
Any size on either roster?

10th Region Tourney Host
Exactly, if you want to go to state you have to play/win your regional tournament. Its just all part of the ride.

10th Region Tourney Host
MC girls drove to Campbell.....whats the diff? I guess the 1 st, 2nd, & 15th regions shouldn't have to drive three hours to play in the state tournament?

Montgomery Co vs. Pendleton Co (10th Region 1st Round)
On the region draw, MC got about as lucky as Clark did by beating Campbell yesterday. At this point, the Indians should sail to the finals and play a tired team.

Pike County Bowl 2008
All Belfry or Pikeville have to do is say we are open for any and all bowl games....and every bowl game in the state will try to sign them. ER and PC couldn't get scheduled for the Toilet Bowl. If Belfry and Pikeville play each other the crowds will suffer. People enjoy seeing the showcased teams....and ...if the bank doesn't them to come for the bowl game...they won't be coming during the regular season.

Paris Football Coach Resigns
I'd say he should send in his resume and snap on a snare drum and he has the job!

What can be done to improve attendance?
I agree, but that is obvious. The question was what can be done to improve attendance....not why is it bad.

Paris Football Coach Resigns
KYFan, be honest with me. When Coach T posted that he wanted the Rowan job didn't the Paris folks just about lose it. I could not get my arms around his thought process.

Hood out for the year?
UK should be on him so hard it wouldn't matter what they think. Unfortunately, it does matter.

Hood out for the year?
All I have been told is Donanvan and Coach K suggested prep school for him.

Paris Football Coach Resigns
I think he is good coach as well. Not a good fit at Paris, however, from what we are hearing....is there a good fit? The band director may want to pull some double duty.

Pike County Bowl 2008
Without Pikeville and Belfry there is no PCB?

Question
I might sit on the other teams side, but I would certainly respect them enough to be reasonable with my comments and actions. Who wants to be "the fly in the ointment"?

2008 Montgomery County
I agree, he has real potential to be a big time receiver. A 6'3" or 4" receiver who can run and jump is an absolute treasure in football, at any level. In basketball you better be able to play guard at the next level. He is certainly set to have a huge year. I can see him getting lots of attention.

Amazing....you would recommend the job you are running from after one year to a FRIEND? There is nothing like two desperate parties getting together to form a great relationship. I would stay out of it and let the Paris faithful figure out their future.

Whats the best tourney the sweet 16 or 11th
I agree, the Sweet 16 is a good tourney. Not the best 16 teams. Also, please recognize that every game is not good. Sometimes it is pretty bad until Saturday morning.

If the board hires the Supt. then the could effect the principal position, couldn't they? I think the board still has some control.

Montgomery Co vs. Pendleton Co (10th Region 1st Round)
True enough the Indians will have to tip it up with the Cats.....this placed called Hope, it must be a BIG place. I think Bill Clinton used up all the hope in Hope.

Montgomery Co vs. Pendleton Co (10th Region 1st Round)
"It would have to be a pretty big one."

No way.
