DADDY CAT Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 I don't want to break ANY of the bones in my wrist. How did it happen?
LCHS 1996 Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Heard he got injured on a pretty bad play. Broke one of the bones you dont want to break in his wrist or something. What's the story? Really hate to hear this!! Hope everything is OK!!
HSBallFan78 Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 According to blogs on Catspause, it is a broken hand/wrist and he is out for the year. Hope he makes a full recovery. Definitely and up and coming player on the national scene. Would love to see him at UK. But hear he is a longtime Duke fan. Regardless wishing him a speedy and full recovery. Like Pat Patterson, a tough day for both of them.
jcdevil Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Heard he got injured on a pretty bad play. Broke one of the bones you dont want to break in his wrist or something. What's the story? Wow, Is the world coming to an end for sports fans in the state of Ky or what? Feb. 29 2008 is a day all sports fans in the state defintely want to forget. First Patterson, then Bengals sign stud defensive tackle, later to find out deal got shot down and he is now going to Cleveland, and now this young man being injured. Very tuff day in the bluegrass.
Lights Out 30 Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Hate to hear this. Recover and come back strong next year and don't rush it.
All In Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Has he already signed with UK? The headline in the paper made it seem as though he was already a signed recruit for the Cats.
westsider Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Hood hasn't committed to anyone. He's getting a lot of big-time interest.
FB15G8 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Hood is the real deal. I doubt he will play in KY next year.
The Scribe Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I've heard rumors of taking his game to Mouth of Wilson U. However, if he does go the Oak Hill route, wouldn't that signal to UK that he isn't going to Lexington? I mean, if you accept a scholly to UK before your senior year, why go to Oak Hill?
strike-3 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I've heard rumors of taking his game to Mouth of Wilson U. I see what your saying, but another way to look at it is that perhaps he could improve by playing better competition. I'd say it's likely that he will more often than not face better competition during practice at Oak Hill than he would in the 2nd Region.
gchs_uk9 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I've heard rumors of taking his game to Mouth of Wilson U. However, if he does go the Oak Hill route, wouldn't that signal to UK that he isn't going to Lexington? I mean, if you accept a scholly to UK before your senior year, why go to Oak Hill? Why not? I would think Gillispie (or any coach) would want a player to play better competition, especially if they play in a less-than-stellar region. Going to Oak Hill wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing in that situation.
lewiscoref Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I'm sorry but I'm unfamiliar with Mr. Hood and the 2nd Region. He sounds like the real deal, but whats his first name and who does he play for?

Just found the answer. Never mind. Wish him well in whatever he decides to do. Would love to see him go to Duke though. The could use some more PTP'ers BABY!

Just like another year of college.
