  1. Can't leave out Coach G at Montgomery. Very nice job in first year as a head coach.
  2. 6'4ish guard, plays great defense. Has great footwork, nice shot and a leaper. Has soft hands. His biggest issue is he needs to get more aggressive. Mason Co. knows about his defensive. I thought the last Clark Co. at Montgomery was his shining moment. MC was down 16-4 and he clearly stepped up and took over the game. He had some foul trouble during the game, but when he was on the court he was the man.
  3. Brandon Rash - Montgomery
  4. I heard this to be fact.
  5. French, Harmon and Larkey are all great hires.
  6. Webb did not play. Montgomery played very hard and never let up. A nice team game as well. Montgomery's size really was too much for Mason. Long story short.....this was a butt whoopin!
  7. Did he sign with G'Town? Certainly no knock against G'town, great education....I just thought May could go D-1. This reminds a little of the Doug Howard situation a few years back. Howard was a great football player.
  8. Also, a pretty good thread to address as well. Often players will do this stuff and then act like they don't know....lets go ahead and let them know what to do.
  9. Both of LRCW post are right on line. The players should look to an off official to relay the ball. Athletes need to be school leaders and playing sports for your school is earned. Earned with hard work in the classroom, on the fields/courts, and in the community. If you can't be respectful when you are 18 and under, then you will struggle as an adult.
  10. I agree. The second seed would be the key to earning a spot in the region. To win the region....you have to get there.
  11. It would be unusual, but this is important enough to KY football history and the city that the local government or school board should consider a bond issue.
  12. Speaking of personality on the court.....If Brandon Rash played with more attitude....look out.
  13. I agree....you are posting with passion and leaving reality behind. Of course, everybody on here has some passion for sports.
  14. Mason might have had 150 at the Prep Classic.
  15. Relax...Buchanan gets mentioned for every job that comes open. Why? Because he is a great coach and beyond that he is a great guy. So, don't feel so compelled to defend him.....he doesn't need it.
  16. What high school did he play for?
  17. I think the Lady Indians are the best in the region...I think they could play on Saturday morning easily...I also think they can win it all. I like Coach Robinson very much. This team has been to the state tournament 3 years in a row. Its easy to lose your edge....the ole "eye of the tiger". Talent alone won't win the region. Montgomery can win the region, but they can't be satisfied with the past. I don't want them to let this season get away from them.
  18. I understand, the thought process would be they will know they can be beat and they will come alive....the fact is..its a miracle they didn't lose to Paris a few weeks ago. Its time to wake up MC.
  19. Possibly top to bottom, but Mason is the best competition to Montgomery.....or at least should be.
  20. MC is very talented, but soft. They seem to play passive, particularly the last month. Hopefully, they wake up before this season gets away from them. They have strong competition in the region. They simply need more grit.
  21. Looks like coach Jackson has them rolling?
