All I have to say is WOW... what happened to Montgomery?!

 

Not really a great time to have a loss like this, with Mason County coming up a week from tomorrow.

HUGE win for Coach Sosby. Looks like anything could happen come district time. Paris is on a role. Montgomery is good. GRC had a big win this week. And now Bourbon. WOW.

Yeah, no doubt that the 40th district is the toughest in the region! Should be interesting come tournament time.

MC is very talented, but soft. They seem to play passive, particularly the last month.

 

Hopefully, they wake up before this season gets away from them. They have strong competition in the region. They simply need more grit.

Yes, but Mason isn't in the 40th district. I was just saying the 40th district is pretty tough, everyone's pretty much beaten everyone now. Good win for Bourbon County, but this will only help to fuel Montgomery County for post-season play, and I'm sure they won't let another one get away from them like this.

Montgomery's schedule next week looks like this:

at Sacred Heart, home against Henry Clay and home against Mason Co. This will be a good test to see what the girls from Montgomery are really made of.

I understand, the thought process would be they will know they can be beat and they will come alive....the fact is..its a miracle they didn't lose to Paris a few weeks ago.

Wow, there have been some huge statements made about the Lady Indians on here tonight. Granted they didn't play their best tonight and Bourbon did everything they needed to to pull off the upset but their are some big statements being made about how good they really are. Let's take a look at the Montgomery Co. resume so far:

 

5-1 in district play

Have beaten: E-town, Mercy, Notre Dame Academy, Shelby Co., Simon Kenton and Clay Co.

losses: Dunbar, Lex. Catholic (twice, both at Cathoic), Pike Central and Bourbon Co. all on the road.

 

Tonight they were without a key player in Webb that would've been a great help on Norton or Livingood.

 

Now someone put up a comparable resume for another team in the region. I have to take up for the lady Indians on this one, as good as Mason Co. is there is no comparing the strength of schedule and results at this point. Now we will get to see the head to head match up next week but I don't think that Webb will still be available then so we may never know unless the teams are fortunate enough to make it to Regional play and match up again but at this point no one can question the Lady Indians or their toughness. They've played more top teams then most teams play in two or three season with much success. Coach Robinson is doing a fine job considering the pressure that has to be on her to excel.

 

Now tell me another team in the Region that comes close to that resume and

That's terrible. Hopefully she'll recover...big game next week against Mason County! Is she a starter/key player?

She is a sometime starter or first off the bench! She is a beast of an athlete!

Well hopefully she has a quick recovery. I would like to see both Mason County and Montgomery County at full strength when they play eachother.
