It was a battle, that's for sure. Montgomery County hung in there, despite being down by as many as 10 ate in the 3rd quarter. They didn't give up and proved that Mason County will have some competition for the regional title this year, and that it just won't be handed to them.

Middleton, Miller and Setty all ended up with around 18. Miller came on strong in the 2nd half. I think only had 5 points at halftime.

 

The Royals really struggled keeping Montgomery Co off the glass, you can attribute that to the Indians hustle and the fact that Downing missed another game because of his back.

 

Nice road win, just find a way and get the win.

An interesting pre-tournament score. With the 10th Region being played at Montgomery County, it looks like the Indians could possibly come out of this region.

Keith Downing did not play because of injuries. He could have helped them alot on the defensive side.

Blaine STULL had a very good game hitting lots of big shots for the indians. Brandon rash played great and guarded miller very will. If he would not of fouled out this one would have been down to whoever had the ball last in my opinion.

Mason Co clearly didnt have there best game. Downing was out and the Royals didnt rebound at all. But yet, they still win.

Good teams find a way to win, even when the situation is tough or not so promising. No doubt, Mason County is a good team.

I listened to it on the radio, but could distinctively hear the Mason County fans, so I'm just assuming they had a pretty good showing on their side.

Oh, well even though I could hear them louder, it did sound like there were several people there. And I'm sure the Montgomery County fans were in multitude because of it being at home.
