I disagree w/ the best defensive player part.

 

Why do you disagree? You are welcome to your opinion, but you must not have seen him play. He is their best on ball defender hands down. Darius is the most talented play, but seems to take a few plays off on defense every once and awhile. Keith brings it every play and is deceptively strong.

That is just his personality on the court & I assume off the court. I have been watching him since he was 10 years old & have always said he needs to be more aggressive on the floor, especially the offensive end.

 

Speaking of personality on the court.....If Brandon Rash played with more attitude....look out.

You just don't realize how great players are until they're out for a game or two.

Downing is their best defender only because Darius doesn't get after it the way he should. He has the ability to be a special player he just has to get more agressive.

Downing is a great defender and role player for the royals, and he has been missed the last couple of games but i dont think that is the only reason they have had a couple bad games. I really think that foul trouble has alot to do with it.
