This is an impressive win for Walton. If Walton plans on beating Owen, the better practice their pass coverages this week. I saw the Owen/Bellevue game and Owen runs a sort of west coast offense and isn't afraid to take a few shots down field with their tall receiver.

Ludlow must of played a really good 2nd half. I heard the score was 21-0 Newport, in the 2nd quarter.

I agree with you. The Cards are on the path to becoming a great football team again. It's always great to see in-state guys going to UK or UofL.

Not familiar with LexCath's QB. What are his vitals (height/weight). How good is he? I'm sure he is better than Will Stein is right now for the Cards.

I know guys on both coaching staffs and like I said it's hard to pick in this game, I think WV has come a long way since their Bellevue game and Carroll look tough and strong against Bellevue. I just hope it's a good game and an injury free game. Good luck to both teams and coaching staffs

The only game that would even come close to getting smashed would be the Newport game. They lost to Carrol 7-2, last week (don't really think of that as smashed). Plus the Tigers have 3 wins...2 more than Dayton has had in 16 games.

It would bulletin board material for sure if it were the Bellevue/Dayton game. But either way I don't think it matters. Dayton is struggling and cannot capitalize on opportunities when they need too.

Despite beating Bethlehem last week. I think Ludlow is still a struggling team and is not too far from turning it around. I just don't see them doing that this week against a pretty good Newport squad. I am going with the Wildcats on this one. Newport 35 Ludlow 14 For anyone that's a Ludlow fan....tell your kids to get ready for an onside kick at any point in the game.

This could be one of the best games in Northern Kentucky this weekend. I have had the opportunity to see both teams play and even though both teams are playing very well. I think I am going to have to go with Carroll Co in a very close game. Carroll 24 Walton 23

They may have recovered it but obviously didn't capitalize on it. So, why not try it again. Based on this season, Devils haven't capitalized on much. That trend will continue!!

I don't believe in the "running up the score".....if I bet you by over 50, you should have prepared better and it's my job to win games. If you bet me by 50+ then I should have prepared better, etc. Just be smart and make sure the starters aren't in winning you are up large, therefore there aren't any unnecessary injuries.
