Oh come on now ...................................................................................................? NCC of course .

What was the Highlands/Mason County score, NewCath in a yawner.

NCC Easily. JV plays entire 2nd half.

Who's the wise guy in the poll?
A Newbie with a green Horse's head for an avatar . Gotta vote for whomever you root for . Right now he must be lonely .

New Cath should be able to pick the score. They will build a decent lead and let the subs due the rest. I think there may be a running clock in this one, but it may be later in the game than some might think. The two programs often have the same kids considering each school and a lot of kids on both teams are friends. That is until game night. There is a great Rivalry between these two schools. Unlike years ago when Brossart was considered the ugly step child. They battle in every sport, but this particular sport is still to fresh at Brossart and they are not ready to compete with the 2A state champs! Good luck to both teams. I know most of the kids that will be competing this weekend. Stay healthy!

Twenty years ago Brossart could not compete with NCC in an sport. Now they have several wins notched in all sports...............Now they cannot compete in football at all............NOt now at least. But at least what used to be an intimidation factor whenever the two schools played........That is now gone. But count on a 40 point win for NCC

This will be ugly. New Cath will not back down until 3rd Qtr, unless than is an intervention with the Arch Bishop.

At least both cheering sections can say they have JESUS without it being made a national news story.

Now that they are in the same district...this will be Nky version of the Holy War (BYU/Utah reference). NCC will warming up the busses by the end of the 2nd quarter.

NCC 67

Brossart 0

I hope that NewCath buries them. This is not just a game for the sake of the district, this is a game to be used to restock the pond. Those football players that are on the fence regarding Brossart and NewCath will get to see the gap in quality b/n the two. That and Brossart is very arrogant about almost everything, I'd love to see NewCath serve a little humble pie.

Come on, TAC, admit it; deep down, you're going to be cheering when NewCath wins, right?

I only cheer against the Breds once a year, and that is during the winter months!:thumb:
