Does David have a rock in his slingshot to throw at Goliath?

Dave's biggest challenge this week will be keeping his team focused on the task at hand.

Must tell you Clyde that the biggest challenge to Dave this week won't be keeping his team focused, his seniors will do that for him but to keep the CovCath fans from thinking this game has already been won, without it even being played!

I just hope that the Crazies and the CovCath fans make the journey down Route 27 to see the game and root for their Colonels, instead of staying home, thinking that CovCath can just mail in a victory!

I'm not a big platitude guy. Kids are kids. They'll believe what they read and think they know.

My guess is you will see a sparse CCH crowd on Friday.

Guessing Mark & Co. will have a big listenership next Friday? Need to make the trip though--Nice facility and the food smelled wonderful.

Cov Cath names the score in this one however--PC defense is non-existent.

Come on guys, Pendleton lost to Brossart. I'm afraid the wildcats may be outscored by 150 points in the next two weeks.

Let's not start the typical fluff I hear in the Highlands threads. They will blast em early and often. Gray will run all over them and Bir may throw for 300 in the first half if Wirth allows it. I wouldn't want to be PC this week after the Colonels came up short vs Highlands.

Tough game for the Wildcats!

JV game in second half.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a good bit of the JV team out in the first half...or even starting. What better an opportunity to get your backup O-line some varsity game time experience? I think it would be a good thing to see some of the younger guys get a Friday night workout and try to insure that the senior starters stay as healthy as possible.

I do not see Coach Wirth putting 60+ points on anyone unless there are alot of defensive scores.

Also the JV have no game scheduled for Oct. 1

CC can name their score. JV team will be in before half time. :isurrender:

Covington Catholic 66-0.
