oldrambler Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Things like this usually go in Gen. Discussion but since it involved a high school football team I thought that I would put it in this forum where most high school football fans visit. Should a Mod think that it belongs in another forum, please move it. Thank you. Usually parents warn their children about being careful on what they post on Facebook. In this case it's the parent that "has some "splainin' " to do". :sssh::lol: http://rivals.yahoo.com/highschool/blog/prep_rally/post/Tennessee-team-vacates-wins-after-mom-8217-s-Fa?urn=highschool-wp6392
Jim Schue Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I love the coach's comments: "We are sorry that this investigation happened and that the two players were deemed ineligible," Harrison told the Tennessean via email. "We hope to put this investigation behind us and move forward." Note that he's sorry that the investigation happened. Not that they cheated. Is it impossible any more for people to admit they make mistakes? Ridiculous.
THEDUDEABIDES Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Even though I have my own Facebook account and check it on average 2-3 times per day. I still believe that one day Facebook is going to cause the demise of world!!
RomanEmpire Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Probably very common, just smarter parents involved.
oldrambler Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 (edited) Comedian Ron White says it best......."You just can't fix stupid" Edited September 28, 2011 by oldrambler
sidelinedoc Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I guess the simple answer is; Parents do NOT discipline your children! :idunno:
hoops5 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I love the coach's comments: Note that he's sorry that the investigation happened. Not that they cheated. Sweeperboy Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I just dont get it, I know you could never get away with that stuff in KY. Kudos to the KHSAA for doing a great job....................
Toothpick Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Henry Co, TN where the boys live shares it's Kentucky border with Calloway County. Henry Co this year is likely the best team in West TN so I wonder why they felt a move to Perry Co.was beneficial
