Wow. I believe the Rocks footballers have now won 7 straight over St X (3 freshman wins, 2 JV wins and 2 varsity wins). Can they make it 8 straight on Friday night?

And JCPS and the KHSAA will allow this? No transferring for athletics reasons Right? ………..they brought in a whole transfer class. Dayvone Harris led Moore last season with 16.7 ppg. Bryonn Faulkner and Britain Clark were roll players for Fern Creek. Prince Kahnplaye was good in providing talented depth for DeSales. Cayon Gaines was a solid asset for Ballard.

Central is tough year in and year out. Certainly within their own classification and often vs 5A and 6A schools. BE on the other hand had the one great year recently and since then has returned to their more normal form….. not able to compete vs the top 6A peer schools such as Male, St X, FD, Trinity, Manual, etc

Not quite. Trinity is in the east region where they are #2 behind #1 Ryle. The Shamrocks are currently #3 overall in 6A RPI (Ryle, Manual, Trinity). Manual is in the west region.

Nice road win for the Crimson. I think their physical style of play will mean for a long night for CAL later this week. Can they go on and defeat both St X and Male in the regular season?

I looked up the word “cupcake” in the 6A football dictionary and found this schedule for Barren County so far in 2024: Metcalfe County, Trigg County, Warren East, Monroe County and Glasgow…… the all powerful Greene County up next.

Maybe one day the KHSAA will allow 2 schools to “combine” rosters and form one team (under VERY SPECIFIC conditions). Certain JCPS schools and certain smaller, rural county schools would benefit from such an opportunity.

You can decide for yourself. I believe Trinity is the only KHSAA high school to be declared national champs in the 21st century (2011 - co national champ with Don Bosco).
