Manual (5-0) will host Christian Academy-Louisville (3-2) after defeating South Warren 35-7. CAL is coming off a 28-24 loss to Ryle.

Last year, CAL won 54-36.

Manual against South Warren had a big performance out of QB Kaden Mack who passed for 163 yds and two touchdowns plus rushed for 41 yards. WR Willis Nofsinger had 148 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. The defense had a great game holding South Warren to 1 touchdown and was led by Cameron Jessee who had 5 tackles with 3 of them for a loss.

CAL against Ryle had a 24-7 lead before giving up 21 pts to lose a close game and was led by QB Connor Hodge who passed for 227 yards plus rushed for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns.

This looks like should be a competitive game but Manual comes in flying high with the good win over South Warren, and CAL will be looking to rebound from a tough loss where they have to think they let the win get away from them. Does Manual avenge last year's loss and move to 6-0 or does CAL get back in the win column after two losses to two very good teams?

I'm going the other way here than most probably are and I'm taking a CAL win by a TD.  I believe this will be the 1st game that CAL is fully healthy this year and maybe that will make the difference.  The Centurions are very young and I believe the rough learning curve the last 2 games will help them out greatly this Friday.

CAL won last year and wouldn't be a surprise if they won this year.

I like the way you are thinking.  I think CAL is hungry.

I think this year's game goes to Manual. But CAL gets the edge for the better football helmet design of the two. This might be one of the best helmet design match ups of the season, though.

Belichik and I are challenging this take. Manual's helmet design beats the stuffing out of CAL's. In fact, Manual's overall uniform design slaps so hard that I'll go ahead and accept the W here. No booth review necessary. 😂

What a schedule CAL is playing!

You definitely have to give them credit.  Out of district, they've played 4-6A schools, a 5A school & a strong 2A school in addition to the #1 ranked 3A school in Indiana.  Would love to see them continue some of these series, like Manual, Ryle & LCA the next 2 years.  Would also love for them to schedule at least one of the Big 3 for the next two year series.  I think they'll have the players to compete well the next few years.
