For Reference: Beechwood - 2019 Schedule

Beechwood in their eyes had a down year last season and still made it to the Semifinals. Any idea on what this upcoming season will look like? They return some play makers, get a good freshman class coming up, but lose some key Seniors! Curious what the predictions are for their season!

They will be young. Not many seniors in line to start, maybe 3 or 4? They have Hergott back at QB so that is a good place to build around. Beechwood almost always has good skill players. The state championships happen when they have the line in front of the skill. That is where the question marks are for 2020.

That was my same thought process. They have a good amount of skill players but I think their line will be their weak link. Give Hergott time to throw and they will be deadly!

Line has to prove their worth no doubt. Can’t replace a leader like Shepard Easily. But I know of at least one OL/DL that everyone will know by years end. Can’t wait for this season to start.

Shep was a special player! Kid got after it on both sides of the ball! They have plenty of skilled players and I have to agree, that the line is such a question mark, especially with what is going on in the world today. As a huge tiger fan I hope Rash does what he’s known to do, and get the most out of his team just like every year!

With the schedule change, how does beechwood fare now? Better? Worse? I still have yet to decide how their W-L plays out this year. 

I didn't think BW was hosting any games this year or next year due to the school construction. 

Looks like Beechwood has revised again to replace the Taft (OH) game with Ryle, and to add Meade County as a final game. Two 6A programs. Strong work, Tigers.

Schedule I think just got tougher! Is there a program for strength of schedule? How does this fare in 2a? In the state? Stage is set, just hope they get to play.

I agree, that is a very strong schedule for Beechwood.

Like what they are seeing or lack of option. I hope it’s the first one though.

Playing devils advocate, what makes it a strong schedule?

Beechwood will be heavy favorites in the district games. 

In the non district games, all but one would be a toss up? And I would lean towards the Tigers in most of those.

Is it because 5 of the 6 non-district schools are in bigger classes than Beechwood?
