....a team is leading 5-1 in the after 4.1 innings and the game is called for rain? Does the game resume in the top of the fourth or does the game re-start at 0-0?

Forty-six people have viewed and no one has responded. I got my answer, the game resumes in the top of the fourth. Problem is getting the visiting team to return. Boyle County left Casey County after a shower on Friday night...the sun was coming out when Boyle loaded up on the bus....my guess is they will not return to Liberty to pick up an "L".

I think your correct. I don't see any way Boyle will show back up to finish that game. If i was Casey's Coach I would call it in to the KHSAA as a 5-1 score in the 4th inning of a suspended game. At least that way it would show you played that much of the game.

I think game would resume from the exact point it was suspended. But Boyle ain't coming back.

Game over, during the regular season 4 innings is a complete game in a rain shortened game.
