Carson Palmer Watch

Featured Replies

They have just lost two straight division games, the last to the last place team at home. 4-2 when he arrived. 4-4 now. He was not the main culprit in yesterday's debacle. Oakland's defense was atrocious. But throwing three picks doesn't help them either. Let's see what happens next week in San Diego. Rivers has been throwin it to the wrong team a lot also.

Agreed. He definitely can't keep throwing 3 picks a game. He has to get better every week, and in a hurry. No arguing there.

Retire time? He is only 31 years old. Kolb has looked completely horrible and he even had a preseason with them and Fitz to throw too. Should he retire too? No matter what as long as his heart is in the game, he should not retire just cause he is struggling. The only thing with him struggling would do is cost their HC a job.

If Hue Jackson is fired (he's all in on CP) where does Palmer get another shot to start? He isn't going to want to be a backup. I think he'll turn it around, but it needs to start Thursday.

True. He has to keep getting better each week. Even though he did throw 3 interceptions, people are going to ignore that he did also get much better from the week before. The key is for him to get better each week, the more games he gets to play.

It would have been nearly impossible to be worse than his first game.

The key is for him to win. He doesn't need to be great by any means. He just needs to win games, that's why Oakland brought him in.

3 picks came in a game he should have never played. As for the playoffs, aren't they still tied for first? They just hurt themselves by not being able to get gain a game over the other teams in the division.

They may be tied, but they would not be playoff bound as is stands now. KC would get the nod.

That does it. I'm convinced FC is Carson Palmer .

About time you figured it out! :D

Just got in. Looks like Carson is ballin'. Good to see.

He's still a bum for losing to Tebow. :D

Wow if Carson sucked tonight this thread would have had all kinds of posts. I am not going to say I am right about Palmer based on one game either. He didn't play a great game because he did turn the ball over but he did play a good game. I said before the key is for him to keep getting better each week and he has. We have the rest of the season to truly evaluate him, and see who is right about this debate at the end of the season. Tonight was a must win basically for them though and they got it done.

Palmer looked much better last night and I'm glad that he had a better game. Michael Bush helped out a lot too.

Either way I wouldn't have responded until today. Didn't see the game. Looks like Palmer played pretty well.

Yes he did. Saw a fantasy football report on ESPN and they expect Palmer to play much better when McFaddedn returns. Bush looked really good. I hope Palmer does well and Oakland wins whatever it takes to get the second first round pick.

Figured I'd hurry up and get on here and post or else FC will probably start a thread about it.

Palmer played pretty well last night....Got away with 2-3 mistakes, but did what Oakland needed and that was to not screw it up.
