July 27, 201115 yr Believe it or not, Pete Mac is exactly who I was talking about. Told you that I usually actually agree with most of the stuff you say on here, and apparently we were thinking alike when it came to him. I know it was a small sample size, but I just really liked what Pete did while he was here. I was wanting the Reds to give him a chance instead of Dusty when they hired him.
July 27, 201115 yr As many Reds fans here can attest, I was critical of the Dusty hiring from the start. I thought Mackanin did a good job with the Reds when he was in charge, but the Reds decided to go for a big-name guy.

Morgan would not manage the team long term. I haven't heard anything about that, I am just saying Joe Morgan does not want to be a manager for the long term.
