Ive heard this also, from his coach. I have heard that if he had gotten his act togethor he would of had a good shot at playing on Sundays.

That's true definitly wasted talent he went to Eastern but never played a down. I also believe he could have played on Sundays.

^ Couch also played as an 8th grader and started his freshman year. If they had allowed for Brian to do so, he would have annihilated most of Couch's records....no worries there.

Brian still needs to make the NFL. To start the comparisons to Couch.

Be careful coming up with this team based on how guys did AFTER high school. If the list is for the best KY HS football players ever, then you'd better keep it to considerations of how the guys did in HS, and forget about college/pro successes or failures.

Al Baker at Running Back, He was a Parade All American in 1985 and was also the Gateroade Player of the year.

I think you're talking about Joe Jacoby. Yes he's from the Louisville area, not sure which high school but also was a standout for Louisville in college. Went on to have a great career as a Hog for the Redskins. Another great from the Louisville area that comes to mind is Howard Schnellenberger from Flaget

Its hard to beat 3 straight titles for Brohm, not many hs qb's can claim that. Sure Couch's numbers were better but where are his rings?

If you throw Brohm in the mix, then Michael Bush has to be there as well..As far as the 3 state championships, I wouldn't give much credit for that, considering how many Trinity has had before he was ever a part of it and there in it again twice since he's been gone...Couch, too, was on cover of SI

He was a blue bird, might be another one though, it is a common sort of name. The one I am familar with plaed in the NFL.

Nope from Ft.Thomas,Ky..........I've known him my whole life......

Brohm had a better group of recruits around him- he is still not to Couch Status yet
