TE, possibly Jacob Tamme of Boyle Co. Another DB could possibly be Bo Smith of Owensboro, he played with Miller. Both players play for the Cats now.

 

Miller is in the NFL now. He went to college at Clemson, and now he plays for the Jets.

Anyone remember Madisonville,UK and Atlanta Falcon star rb Sonny Collins from the early 70s...Hes gotta get some consideration..

Doug Pelfry, a kicker who played HS ball somewhere in Northern Kentucky,went on to break records at UK and the SEC and kicked for the Bengals should be on the list. And what about David Ackers kid who is currently kicking in the NFL for the Eagles. He played for Tates Creek High School in Lexington.

Michael Hanley - Apollo, fella was amazing.

I would have to nominate some of the Bird's from Corbin.

 

Steve Bird - WR

1. Played 4 years in the NFL for the Cardinals & Chargers.

2. All-American at EKU where he played in 4 straight national championship games, winning two titles.

3. Played on 1 state championship team and 1 runner-up in high school.

 

Rodger Bird - RB

1. High School all-american

2. All-american for UK.

3. First round draft pick of the Oakland Raiders where he started in the Super Bowl.

 

Calvin Bird - RB

1. First team high school all-american.

2. All-SEC team.

just too throw some names out there. How about Mike Pheifer OL, Mark Higgs RB, Ray Correll OL, Phil Simms QB, Jeff Brady LB, Zane Beehn DE, Frank Minniefield DB, Rodger Bird RB, and Ken Roark C. I think these names could be thrown around for some consideration. :argue:

Can we get an updated team?! There are alot of big time names that have been brought up. I think this will be harder then expected. I couldnt imagine doing this for a state like California, FLA, or GA, especially TX.

Without Question is a little strong. There have been many great KY QB's. Tim Couch has all Brohm's credientials.
