Coaches were asked to vote for the top 10 players they had seen during the season.

More than 95 percent of the ballots were received before the Sweet 16s.

Behanan was the boys' leader with 69 votes from 110 submitted by state coaches.

Warren Central's George Fant and Eastern's Remy Abell both had 50 votes, while Gatorade Player of the Year Timmy Knipp of Elliott County and Mr. Basketball Anthony Hickey of Christian County had 49.

Western's Ryan Taylor had 47; Ballard's DeVante Parker and Clark County's Robbie Stenzel had 46.

Tates Creek's Marcellus Barksdale and Jeffersontown's Zach Price — another U of L signee — are the other two first-team boys.

Behanan, Knipp and Stenzel are the only repeat first-team members.

Congrats to Freshman Brandon Hatton of Dixie for making the CJ 2nd team All State.

I still say if you havent seen this kid play you gotta get out and do it. He is a scoring machine and does it in the calmest and coolest fashion I have every seen out of someone that age.

Agreed. B Hatt is gonna be a lot of fun to watch over the next few years. He'll have a chance to shine nationally when Dixie plays in the tournament in New York.
