Prayers for South Oldham's Erica Houston

Erica Houston tore her ACL in game against Conner and is having surgery today. She is a junior and one of South's fastest defenders. She plays three sports; track, volleyball and basketball. Track is her #1 sport but she will miss this season as she will have to sit out for 6 months. A great kid and my prayers are with her and her family that everything goes well.

Always puts a pit in my stomach to hear. Interesting that they are doing surgery so soon; seems to be the new school of thought to get the surgery done before muscles start shutting down which makes sense to me. Good luck and prayers to you Erica.
