February 2, 201115 yr UK football, nothing has changed. Joker is a joke, Kiffin a cheat, must be because of the USC Cheerleaders. http://www.hottestgirlsofcheerleading.com/2008/01/02/usc-cheerleaders-encore/ Without a doubt .... the best cheerleading uniform of all time. Even better than the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders IMO.
February 2, 201115 yr I was at the corbin game and he sat out more than the 4th quarter. Oh well it doesnt matter anyway, good luck to a KY boy and hope you find happiness in Calif. i doubt many kids going to a major college program are mentally or physically ready. i still say a 18 year old hitting a 22 year old is like a 8th grader hitting a sophomore in HS. But some are ready, he better be. You sound like you have a lot of sour grapes over him not going with Ky.
February 2, 201115 yr Nice article on the USCfootball.com website. http://usc.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1184219 USC currently ranked as having the #3 best incoming class. Only Alabama and Florida State rank higher. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/teamrank/2011/all/all Up to #2 now.
February 2, 201115 yr I can't say that I blame him for going to a program like USC. Good luck to him, I wonder when the last time a player from UK signed with USC was, if ever? We discussed it earlier and no one could remember anyone besides Kurt Barber from Paducah Tilghman who was Mr. Football in 1987 and went on to play at USC. I can't think of anyone else.
February 2, 201115 yr This just popped up on the radar. I wonder how and if it will affect anything going forward. Should be interesting. http://ncaafootball.fanhouse.com/2011/02/02/ncaa-to-smack-tennessee-lane-kiffin/
February 2, 201115 yr Up to #2 now. Just think all these guys will be together for atleast a couple of years. The future at USC is looking good, and all this under restrictions.
February 2, 201115 yr Good choice. USC's Bowl ban ends after next season. Kentucky or USC, either way couldn't go wrong for me.
February 3, 201115 yr Did any of the top SEC teams show any interest in Dawson?? Any offers from other Tenn. and UK ??
February 3, 201115 yr Did any of the top SEC teams show any interest in Dawson?? Any offers from other Tenn. and UK ?? Florida was considered a favorite until Myer resigned. UT, UK, LSU offered and Alabama showed interest.
February 3, 201115 yr I would have been amused to be in the room to see Larry Vaught's expression. He gave me a flying elbow trying to get to Dawson first for an interview afterwards. I didn't know Larry could move that fast!
February 3, 201115 yr I would have been amused to be in the room to see Larry Vaught's expression. That would have been priceless.
February 3, 201115 yr Congrats what a HUGE honor! I'm a diehard UK fan but I don't see how anybody can 2nd guess this kid! #4 recruiting class in the nation right now. Going to play for Monte Kiffin! Cali weather and tons of tradition. Clay Matthews, Ray Mayaluga, Tatupu, Cushing etc. Not a bad group of LBers to follow as of late!
