PutMeInCoach
One heck of a game. Hatton 34 Sampson 27 Cody Chambers got hurt early in the second quarter, a foot injury.
NEERFAN
I thought this game was on Tuesday, I'm ticked. Did Chambers play after the injury?
PutMeInCoach
I thought this game was on Tuesday, I'm ticked. Did Chambers play after the injury? No, he went up for a easy bucket and came right down on someones foot. Cody went straight down and when he was able to get up he took one step and never put any more pressure on it. HoosierDaddy
This was a very intense game. SK played up to the challenge. I felt Dixie was off as a team tonight. The place was packed, excellent fan turn out for both teams. The Simon Kenton fans were fired up. It was a very entertaining game.
PutMeInCoach
I was proud of how Simon Kenton bounced back after an awful second quarter. It seemed like when Cody went down they were a little lost and it showed on the scoreboard. They came out hot in the third to make it a game but just couldn't get over the hump. As always Hatton was the real deal, he forces nothing and always hits the big shot when his team needs it. I was equally as impressed with Sampson because he tailed Brandon all over on D and was still able to produce on the other end.
NEERFAN
Sampson has been on a roll scoring wise. I believe that makes eleven straight double figure games. Cody just can't catch a break with the injuries, hopefully nothing too serious.
Solomon
I had a feeling this one might be tight. SK played really well...wonder what % they shot in the second half? The Doss kid from SK has dramatically improved his free throw shooting. Hatton and Sampson both hitting some really big shots for their teams....great game to watch. wingman96
If anyone missed this game they missed a dandy! Hatton/Sampson. Pike/Doss. Big shots by Riley for SK and Cohorn for Dixie for each team with under two minutes left to go in the game. Box score anyone?
SportsGuy41017
GREAT GAME! For SK Sampson really played well, actually he had been playing well for the past several games! Both Doss and Ayers stepped up, as well as others! Hopefully Cody gets good news tomorrow to the extent of his injury, the guy can't catch a break this year with injuries. For Dixie, Hatton, well it's Hatton, typical game from him, you try to stop him and he still gets his points, all he needs is a split second and he is draining them. Pike ended up with 18 as well. If SK plays with this intensity in all their games they will win a lot of games this year, play everyone as if they were a strong team like Dixie. Walter
Didn't Hatton go off for 30+ against Sk last year as well?

Reality Check
Hatton is fun player to watch play basketball. The kid just scores and scores. He is pretty impressive. At this pace people will be talking about this kid for a while. Keep it up young man!
madman
Hatton is without a doubt the best freshman in Northern Kentucky and he has to be high on the list for the state.
Clyde
Hatton is without a doubt the best freshman in Northern Kentucky and he has to be high on the list for the state. When we talk about Hatton and where he ranks in NKY we need to just talk varsity regardless of grade. He's one of the best players in NKY.
