If anyone missed this game they missed a dandy! Hatton/Sampson. Pike/Doss. Big shots by Riley for SK and Cohorn for Dixie for each team with under two minutes left to go in the game. Box score anyone?

 

Sounds like neither Hatton or Sampson played much Defense but they had nice offensive games. No points for Pike? Is that true or just typo on the boxscore?

The boxscore is missing a few players...the total points only add up to 50 for the four players listed.

GREAT GAME! For SK Sampson really played well, actually he had been playing well for the past several games! Both Doss and Ayers stepped up, as well as others! Hopefully Cody gets good news tomorrow to the extent of his injury, the guy can't catch a break this year with injuries.

 

For Dixie, Hatton, well it's Hatton, typical game from him, you try to stop him and he still gets his points, all he needs is a split second and he is draining them. Pike ended up with 18 as well.

 

If SK plays with this intensity in all their games they will win a lot of games this year, play everyone as if they were a strong team like Dixie.

I think Doss eneded up with 15 as well, not 13 as was listed.

Hatton only needs to be open for a split second to get his shot and that is what he did, SK had some nice plays that were able to get Sampson open.

Hatton is averaging 34.5 per game in his last two vs SK.

Hatton has really come into his own as a player. Shot selection, cool demeanor, confidence, are all things you normally don't see out of a youngster. His experience playing on the AAU circuit Nationally has obviously paid off.
