Ah, more of that good old Central Kentucky arrogance.

It's ok BF, they can only talk til week 0, then your Birds will swoop in and it'll look like an air raid with Towles leading the way.

That's the first I've heard of that.

As to next year's schedule here's what I know:

Allen County-Scottsville

John Hardin

Highlands

Danville (Crosstown Rival)

Christian County (I believe that one is confirmed and renewed I think)

(4 District games that are set: Marion, Taylor, Lex Cath, Mercer)

As to why, why should they? What would they gain by playing Ryle that they don't gain from the rest of the schedule? :idunno:

Great post.

As for the Ryle game, that's the first I've heard of that as well.

 I love it Walter. Last thread didn't teach you to look before you leap? :idunno:

Do we have to go over Boyle's 2010 schedule again for you??

Played and defeate

Johnson Central (you remember them don't you?)

Danville (Class AA semi-finalist if memory serves)

Corbin (Class AA semi-finalist again, if memory serves)

Lafayette (Class 6A Regionals)

Christian County (Class 5A Finalist who got smoked by HHS but did defeat Bowling Green, Warren Central & John Hardin along the way)

Out of 10 Regular Season games, 9 had winning records.

As to the District; the Rebs District won every playoff game against outside competition in the playoffs. A lot better performance than the NKY 4A district had. :D

Now as to Ryle. They had an excellent team this year. They only lost to HHS and Trinity. Solid schedule too. They played Trinity closer than anyone did in the playoffs.

As to Boyle's scheduling: Everyone's schedule was made over 2 years ago, you do know that don't you? Why should Boyle "step up" (your words) and schedule Ryle? They aren't geographically close to them like HHS is. They aren't class rivals. It makes no sense. Why didn't Ryle call Boyle? Because there was nothing to gain by either. Everyone's schedule is designed to get them ready for a run at a title. Looks like Boyle's has worked these last 2 years rather well.

Ryle did call Boyle. As for a run at a title, the formula for a title will be different with having to beat Highlands. The point about the Ryle game, as someone bought up earlier, is that Boyle is having trouble scheduling games. Why wouldn't they play Ryle who is also having trouble scheduling.

A game scheduled between two teams who are having trouble filling their schedule. Not to mention, good competition.

Guilty as charged.

I guess they can't take a joke.

It's not arrogance , it's pride ! Surely you know something about pride ,you have it in your user name. When your team wins state 4 times in a row and has 20 total , get on here and tell us how you feel.We are used to getting posts like yours , all haters say the same thing. Instead of calling us names , if you know anything about football ,you might try helping your team figure how to win state title games. You are clueless and classless , get a life ! :D

While it was directed toward PP92, I felt like I should intrude. Boyle County actually holds the state record with 5 straight state championships and went to 6 straight state championships.

No doubt.......and it is only December......

We will still be talking after that. And if that happens I won't have excuses either. I can take the good with the bad.

Who stopped that streak? :D

We remember 2004 quite well, 2003 not as much.

Danville stopped the streak.

I remember 2003 and 2004. Sad day in 2004 seeing Brandon Smith crying after that game. I'll never forget it. The better team won not only that day but in the regular season matchup as well.

Highlands has been in our class before Larry. :thumb:

Charles don't forget 2001 and 2002. Boyle was in 3A those years also.

Oh come on, you know that's funny. Have you no sense of humor?

Can not wait for return trip down to Boyle County! Keep it coming, this will be great 1st game match up for both teams.

I guess they can't take a joke.
If you can, we can...oil can...garbage can...can can...
