Cuban Missile
Rick graduated in about 75 or 76. Great player. We were both wrong. Rick graduated in '74, I got confirmation from the source himself.

allsport71
Anyone know which 9th region coach has the most career wins? Don't know, but three names come to my mind. Reynolds Flynn, Kenny Shields and Mote Hills, also Tom Ellis of Holmes and the Newport Coach back in the 50s and 60s, can't believe I can't think of his name, I was a little young to follow then. KingOfClutch33
I am a little partial because he is a friend of mine, but Troy Fryman from Conner in the early 90's was absolutely phenomenal to watch! That dude was a machine!

FRONT OF THE RIM
Dicky was a little before my time so I can't comment on his play. With that said though, regardless of decade or time, is it safe to assume that Dicky is the greatest or second greatest to ever play in the 9th region? Always tough to say "Greatest" about anybody. I would steer away from that.

FRONT OF THE RIM
Grant County, Pendleton County, Walton-Verona, Campbell County, Brossart, Calvary Christian, Scott, Silver Grove all can have claims on being in NKY but not the 9th region. Thread called for greatest players of all time in the 9th region. Another thread can call for the greatest players of all time in NKY. Two different subjects even though admittingly some of the names will be the same. All but Grant and Pendleton were in the 9th for the majority of the past 60 years. FRONT OF THE RIM
Agreed. Tom Thacker would be tough to overlook. Just a thought and not saying top 10 but after reading all these names would the second leading career scorer and leading career rebounder from a school like NewCath be in the talk?
