I'm curious why UC would restrict him to Safety? Do they have a lot of incoming CB talent ahead of him that would have created blockade at the position? I see their highest ranked incoming CB recruit (per 247 sports) is Oliver Bridges at #616 nationally and the #57 CB. Afari is the the #338 national recruit and #16 at the athlete position. With Hardaway signed, why so focused on the Safety position?

Curious as to why to why @RebelDad thought Boone County was a two TD favorite tonight? Best of luck to the Rebels this year though - looks like they will need some improvement in 6A after losing by 3 TD's tonight.

Would be considered an upset if you compare the result to the prediction thread... But history has proven that Boone County football has been down for some time. Cougars win comfortably tonight.

Cooper had some great Coaches at the JV/Frosh level while Jeremy was there. It's a real shame he ran them out.

They were scheduled to play earlier this week on Monday, but it was cancelled. I'm not too sure when it is rescheduled.

Builder said it perfectly. 6'4"-6'5" is tall enough to garner D1 interest. However, just as he said, at that point it comes down to the physical ability of the recruit. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what parents think, because it is those college coaches that are ultimately holding the scholarship offers and deciding who will get them.

Clyde brought up a perfect example with Bradley Way from Cov Cath. If this kid was an inch or two taller who knows where he would have ended up. Would have had his choice of many suitors IMO. One of the best I have seen around here in a long while. In terms of offensive line, it really is all about the height and length of the arms. Most schools would rather take a flyer on a 6'4"-6'5" kid who they can develop rather than a 6'2" kid that is a polished athlete. It's unfortunate but that's just the way it is.

Any advice or tips on grilling fish? Probablly something along the lines of salmon fillets. Any special prep work required for the grill?

He was the third basemen for JV before being brought up to varsity to start. The kid has been tearing it up, both at JV and since being moved up, varsity.

Look out for Brayden Runion from Cooper as well. Great athlete with speed and a powerful bat as well. Fields and throws the ball extremely well from third base.
