https://twitter.com/SWiltfong247/status/1471240623218782214?s=20 Could care less about UK recruiting but I follow Wiltfong and this came across my timeline so figured I'd share.

I'm curious why UC would restrict him to Safety? Do they have a lot of incoming CB talent ahead of him that would have created blockade at the position? I see their highest ranked incoming CB recruit (per 247 sports) is Oliver Bridges at #616 nationally and the #57 CB. Afari is the the #338 national recruit and #16 at the athlete position. With Hardaway signed, why so focused on the Safety position?

But did it though? -
Sam's Club has club locations that include gas stations and/or liquor stores. Not all club locations have those amenities, but the same goes for Costco locations. Sam's Club is the choice for our household. They've been offering curbside pickup for awhile now, while Costco just began rolling that service out within the last week I believe. I'd say prices are fairly comparable between the two for the most frequent purchases, so it really comes down to personal preference on a smaller volume of items that could easily sway a household one way or the other. For us, we much prefer the clothing/apparel section at Sam's Club to Costco's apparel offerings.

Sounds like Senzel is going to spend the first few weeks of the season in the minors. Will give the Reds an extra year of team control. -
Final was actually 3-0. Zucker with the hat trick for MN. Hope this shutout gets Dubnyk headed in the right direction for the playoff push, he has been very inconsistent this year.

PPR Scoring Chris Ivory or Kenjon Barner? I'm leaning Barner as of now... -

Curious as to why to why @RebelDad thought Boone County was a two TD favorite tonight? Best of luck to the Rebels this year though - looks like they will need some improvement in 6A after losing by 3 TD's tonight.
-
Would be considered an upset if you compare the result to the prediction thread... But history has proven that Boone County football has been down for some time. Cougars win comfortably tonight.

Tanner Morgan QB (Ryle) starting at Minnesota?
Cuban Missile replied to simonkenton2018's topic in College Football
Sounds like he will be the backup to open the season. The true freshman walk-on, Annexstad, won the job. Fleck said he expects Tanner to see some action this year. -
It just seems very cyclical in terms of their HC/workforce model, ramp up hiring in Q1 and then later that year announce widespread layoffs. Ability to attract and retain talent to the area is important given how competitive the retail industry has become. Seems like they should be able to smooth things out a bit, especially given solid company performance over the past year or so. Yes, NWA is growing quickly from a population standpoint. Now, the infrastructure to support said growth is quite a ways behind in some areas.

Agree with a lot of what you've said in this thread, and while WM is one of the World's largest employers, 1K Home Office jobs lost mostly in NWA isn't just a drop in the bucket in the eyes of the local community. The continued hiring/layoff phases in the NWA area will continue to have an impact on the business and talent they are able to develop. It will be interesting to see how this competition vs Amazon continues to evolve over the coming months/years... WM has definitely made necessary moves to catch up in the Ecommerce world.
