  1. 5 years, $30M for Iloka w/ the Bengals, per Adam Schefter.
  2. Danny Trevathan expected to sign with the Bears.
  3. Take the domestic assault allegations out of the picture for a second. He admitted to discharging the firearm in his home. If it is illegal to do so, as you're implying, why didn't law enforcement charge him with a crime?
  4. Alleged domestic violence incident that occurred last October. As noted previously, no criminal charges were filed. This falls under MLB's new domestic violence policy. He wont appeal because he doesn't want to be a "distraction" to the Yankees organization.

  6. Yep, Lyft has a very similar business model. No cash exchanged, ever. Tip can be added on at the conclusion of the ride via their app. Very simple, never had a bad experience that I can recall while using Lyft.
  7. You're right. It is what it is... Tough spot for a ref to be in at the end of game. But don't 100% confirm that Bilas said the ref "would be fired" if he called it the other way. Especially when video/audio evidence confirms you were completely wrong in what you originally posted.
  8. Nope, completely wrong... he said "wouldn't have been fired".. Will send you the link in a PM so you know you're off the mark here. It was not said.
  9. Nah sorry, you misheard Jay. He never said anything about an official being fired for making the call one way or the other. Was it the right call? Probably by definition of the rule - but you can't put any blame on Issac. He was their best front court player all game. Easiest UK loss this season to get over by far.

  11. Season hasn't even started yet and the Reds are already losing... Lost the arbitration hearing against JJ Hoover. Reds offered $1.225M and Hoover was awarded $1.4M. First arbitration hearing in more than 10 years for the Reds.
  12. The consensus on here seems to think Louisville goes with a proven, veteran coach. While that may end up being the case, one "up and comer" that I believe should get major consideration is Archie Miller. What he has done at Dayton, on a consistent basis, has been incredibly impressive to say the least. I've seen Mack and Cronin's names thrown around, in my opinion Archie Miller would be a better hire than both of them. While Cronin and Mack have had a few good seasons each, they have meddled in mediocrity a tad too much for me to peg them as potential candidates. I think Archie Miller is an absolute stud and without a doubt a rising star in the coaching profession. I would take a serious look at the Dayton coach. I think he will end up being a more successful coach than his brother, Sean at Arizona when it's all said and done.

  15. Sounds like it's going to most likely be Tommy Mangino, son of former Kansas coach Mark Mangino. Per KSR
  16. A lot of European cars (BMW, VW, etc) require synthetic oil nowadays. I use Liqui Moly Synthoil premium every 6-8k miles.
  17. I think it's tough in Brazil for just about everybody right now... To say their economy is struggling would be an understatement.
  18. 269 total store closing worldwide: 102 of which are their Walmart Express locations here in the U.S., 115 international locations, 23 Neighborhood Markets, 12 supercenters, 7 stores in Puerto Rico, 6 discount centers, and 4 SAM's Clubs They will be opening over 300 new locations in fiscal year 2016...

  20. Three islands I've been to ranked in order from most to least likely to go back to... 1) Kauai - As Clyde said, a lot less commercialism than Oahu and a great place to relax for a week with that touristy feel. Plenty of natural beauty (i.e. hidden beaches off dirt roads, waterfalls, snorkeling locations). On the north side of the island, the Hanalei/Princeville area is breathtaking - a must see in my opinion. 2) Big Island - Somewhere in the middle of Kauai and Oahu in terms of a touristy feel. Lots of cool things to do and go see: volcanoes, black sand beaches, coffee plantations, Kona Brewing Company. Beaches and snorkeling opportunities aren't as nice as Kauai in my opinion, but there may be a better variety of things to do with a family (if you don't like sitting on the beach all day). 3) Oahu - Went here on my first trip to Hawaii. The Honolulu area is different from the rest of island, not a huge fan. North shore is pretty neat (known for the big waves and movies that have been filmed in that area). Pearl Harbor memorial is very cool, especially for those 'history buffs'. Went to the Dole plantation which was just okay. Definitely wouldn't spend my whole trip here but still some interesting things to see.
