Can someone with more initiative (I have the time, just not the initiative) than me tell us who switches classes?

 

And opine on whether or not any school is helped or hurt greatly by switching classes.

6 classes is a joke...They need to go back to 4. Reminds me of rec league baseball where everybody gets a trophy.. Joke!!!

4A is just sickening. Looks like the only class where the trophy won't be rotated amongst a few(couple) schools.

Monroe gets to move up to 3a.....unfortunate for Adair, Edmonson, and South Warren!!!! :ylsuper:

Wow didn't know that. I just figured they were bigger than WC and LC. Has their enrollment shrunk or has it always been like that?

GCHS, 1st of all, that is some great work you have put together.

 

Really, the only changes I would see might be in the 4A districts.

 

Breckinridge County to move in with Atherton, Western, Waggener, Valley, etc (Breck is already in a 4A district with 3 of those teams).

 

Russell County moves into the district with Warren East, Franklin Simpson, ACS, etc. (As you said in an earlier post, Russell Co is somewhat of an annomaly, not really fitting in anywhere, but since they are currently in a district with those guys, might as well leave them?)

 

LexCath now moves into the district with Mercer, Taylor, Boyle and Marion due to Russell Co. going south.

If I was 4A I'd be trying to get into 5A!

5A seems a lot easier than 4A. The only really good perennial team I see in 5A is Bowling Green. A matter of fact, with Bell Co. moving to 3A and having Lou. Central along with Breathitt, Belfry, and Corbin, I believe 3A is better at the top than 5A will be.

John Hardin is another quality team in 5A. They've been really good for the last 8-10 years. But on the whole, 5A would be pretty weak.

I would say Russell was bigger then the other two at a time, but they are all pretty close. Being county schools (and not having to much competition for students), West Carter and Lewis, probably have been a little bigger for a while.

I would say Christian County as well, and to be a homer, Warren Central.
