What is your favorite kind of bourbon?

Kentucky Owl Bourbon won for best drink in the Garden & Gun Made in the South Awards. I've never heard of it. Made in Bardstown, and $175 a bottle apparently. Anyone seen or heard of it?

Had the opportunity to get a bottle a week of so ago. I balked at the price. No age statement and no details on where the juice comes from.

 

It gets pretty good reviews though so I'll probably cave soon.

For those of you who want to save some money with Christmas coming up but don't want to sacrifice too much on quality, the bourbon Guru mentioned a year or so ago called Benchmark is not bad at all for such a low price. With the gift buying season coming up, I may have to grab bottle of that since I only have a shot or two of my Knob Creek I bought last spring.
