November 21, 201411 yr I recently started drinking some bourbon myself. I started on Makers and recently tried Knob Creek. I'm more of a fan of Knob Creek, but what would I know I'm just a 24 year old punk. I do go only ice cube though. Try Bookers and only drink one. It will knock you out but taste so good doing it

Eagle Rare back in the summer - ice only, was pretty darn tasty Markers 46 - Also good, ice only as well Regular Markers - mixed with coke, this has been my go to if I want something to mix Jim Beam - if this was all that was available I'd stick with beer Woodford - on ice, was smooth but not sold on the taste. Will have to give this one another go

I've not had it yet, to be honest. The single barrel, though, I think has one of the most intriguing combinations of vanilla and toffee notes that I've come across in a bourbon. It's a GREAT sipper.

Are you able to purchase at a liquor store? I've been trying as many as possible here lately to see what I like and what I don't. My Knob Creek is almost dry and this will save me some research time.

Although, logically speaking, single barrel costs about $24 a bottle, so it would make sense that their small batch costs a bit less. $17 doesn't sound too far off.
