MBWC41
...surely you don't mean to imply that you consumed bourbon in high school, do you? You must have knocked your old man's prized collectors bottle off the shelf and broken it, or something like that, right? He was a senior and visiting Mexico:D

Hearsay
If I'm drinking bourbon it is Pappy Van Winkle, only very rarely, though! At about $20 per swallow, it needs to be "only very rarely."
bugatti
I heard Buffalo Trace has a great tour, voted best by some travel magazine, but if you're going, go before the Equestrian people overwhelm them. I went last February and really enjoyed it. Picked me up some Pappy Van Winkle 23 year old at the end of the tour. It was signed by one of the Van Winkle grand kids. threetimelover
At about $20 per swallow, it needs to be "only very rarely." Isn't that the truth! Since I'm not a big drinker, it only takes about 40 bucks to put me under the table.

A friend of mine had her wedding there. It is a beautiful place.

jahearme
For the money, Jim Beam Black is wonderful. I also have enjoyed the new Maker's 46 this summer.
Colonels_Wear_Blue
For the money, Jim Beam Black is wonderful. I also have enjoyed the new Maker's 46 this summer. Beam Black is my nightly "sleeping pill". I had the Maker's 46 down at their release party for the Ambassadors, and I did like it a good bit, but I haven't bought a bought it since. To be honest, even though Maker's original is what made me fall in love with bourbon, I don't go for it that much any more...just too sweet.
