All I have to say about the game is the atmosphere at Rupp was easily the best I have ever experienced at any sporting event. Atleast for the 28-2 run we had, the entire arena was rockin'! I felt true excitement watching this team play while they were hot, and enjoyed every second of it. Great game Cats, and way to prove you are a top team RIGHT NOW. Hope to see a full game played with this intensity against UCONN.

Great game, I am glad I was able to be there for the largest crowd ever at Rupp.

 

I have a question to some of my fellow UK fans. After the first game of the year, guys were saying that they like Bledsoe better than Wall. Well do you still have that same opinion now? Bledsoe is good, but Wall is just amazing.

This is a huge game for UK. This is a signature win for the season, pulls UK up one while keeping UNC from drawing closer to 2000, first actual test for UK of the season and might shut Dick Vitale up a little. UK has a great guard play, if not the best in the country, and has a great inside comination, if not the best in the country. UK just needs to play a little more together than anything and they will be favorites against anyone.

One of the announcers for yesterday's game said this was the first time UK had been rated in the top 5 since 2002. I believe he is wrong. They had to be rated in the top 5 in 2003, they were the overall #1 seeded team in the NCAA tourney that year.

Congratulations to the Cats for their big win.That 28-2 run in the first half was the best I seen in a while.I feeling much better about this team now after that win vs UNC yesterday.Now, bring on UConn.:banana:

The Cats have been sandbagging all year. :lol: Seriously, the 1st half performance was unbelievable. When Wall went out I knew the 2nd half was going to be a different story. A huge win for the young Cats that should give them a lot of confidence. This team is exciting to watch, and it should be a fun, fun year.

 

Kentucky would have won going away had he not left for 10 minutes or whatever it was. They got out of sync and couldn't ever get it back.

 

I felt like Kentucky had the most talent of any team in college hoops, but I was really surprised that UNC couldn't match up with them better athletically.

 

John Wall is better than his hype, IMO. I wasn't expecting him to be as mature...he plays like a senior. He knew UK needed a spark early in the game, and when he got the chance he seized it and exploded for a dunk that ignited a 31-8 run.

Just watched the game again, and it was just as good the second time around. Love Clark Kellogg's comment saying that if anyone is trying to stop John Wall while back pedaling, they are in deep trouble, just not possible.

Heckuva ball game to watch. UK absolutely dominated the first 20 minutes. I thought it would have continued had Wall not had to sit for cramps. They are still pretty sloppy with the ball at times, but UK finally showed they deserved their Top 10 ranking. Someone said in another thread that Cousins is a cry baby, and I agree 100%. John Wall = The Real Deal.
