March 8, 200818 yr So far my 5 am flight out of CVG is still scheduled, but I dunno. Haven't even started packing yet because I'm not so sure I'll need to. Grr I hate flying and this is making me a nervous wreck. As for the roads I thought they weren't bad at all from 25 near Florence to Independence just south of Simon Kenton.

March 8, 200818 yr This just had to happen on a weekend!:cry: Family tradition during a huge blizzard... go to Wal Mart in the middle of the blizzard and have the entire store by ourselves. It is a hassle getting out and back, but sure is fun doing it.

March 8, 200818 yr Just picked my son up at Newport on the Levee .They were closing AMC early . Roads were snow covered but easily driven. If you do it at a moderate pace .
March 8, 200818 yr Author It's really hard to measure how much we've had here. With the wind blowing so hard, we have drifts over a foot deep in my yard, but I'd say at least 4 to 5 inches. We had the little one out playing earlier, and we made a small snowman with the slush off the driveway as the snow doesn't pack at all. However, I feel sorry for my dog. The poor guy tries to squat to crap and gets discouraged because his butt hits the snow.
