March 7, 200818 yr Louisville isn't that bad at all yet. It's trying to stick to the roads but nothing major. I just saw on the news it isn't really supposed to stop though until tomorrow night and they're expecting 6-10 inches.

March 7, 200818 yr I have been watching ARTIMIS camera's from downtown to Erlanger and so far the road's appear slushy. My wife says we have 2 to 3 on the ground in Erlanger so far. The worse looks to be on 1-275 at the Erlanger Junction and slippery spots I-75 and US 42 from what I am hearing. Talked to a buddy of mine at the Airport and everything is being cleaned runways etc., Just a little update. JD

March 7, 200818 yr Well, we aren't the only one's suffering! I just received this email from my friend in Garland, Texas. The "Blizzard of '08" has dumped over one fourth of an inch of snow in Garland, Texas !! Chaos and pandemonium in the streets has brought the city to a standstill. Food and water rations are running low in many areas and the Michigan National Guard has been called down and mobilized to rescue doomed citizens, save lives and preserve life as we knew it, here in the frozen tundra of North Texas! Officials are fearing the worst, as conditions worsen, with some estimating that it could be nearly 10 AM this morning before the temperature rises above 50 degrees; thus finally breaking the gridlock that has paralyzed the freeways and put the city's infrastructure in a virtual coma. I must warn you that the following pictures of this event are graphic and not for the faint of heart. The pain and suffering of real human lives is devastating and traumatic. The healing and recovery process may be insurmountable, leaving many on a path of destruction. Please keep these victims in your thoughts and prayers.
March 7, 200818 yr The picture above is my friend and his little boy, Elijah. Now here is how they got enough snow to make their snowman. The snow really is a huge deal to them. But I promised to send them a few pictures later today to show what a REAL snow storm looks like!
