March 7, 200818 yr I remember that day. Unfortunately, those days are gone. This winter Highlands has been off school that back in the day would have been just another day of educating in the city of F.T. I hear the super is getting a little flack for calling off school that day. Nonetheless, I expect to get my automated calls from the school system telling me that the school is sending the kids home at noon today as this storm seems to be the real McCoy (silver lining: they'll get more time in the weight room today ). With the snow likely to stay on the ground for awhile, it will make Spring football on Monday an absolute blast for the boys. :thumb:

I was under the impression there would be three inches of snow on the ground this morning, and I doubt it's more than a quarter-inch. And the snow has come in short bursts; nothing real steady.
