March 8, 200818 yr I noticed earlier that the liquor store was packed, people knew their priorities and got the essentials. I was in such a hurry to get home, I went with the path of least resistance, and that ended up being the carryout two blocks away from work. That's what I get for not making the extra effort. :irked:
March 8, 200818 yr The runways are heated....and remember it's more important where and how you will be landing not taking off....if they let you off, you'll be fine. I sure hope so, we're flying to Chicago and then out of there. Chicago's weather isn't supposed to be bad last I checked.
March 8, 200818 yr How about some of you lucky enough to get this big snow fall posting some pictures. #1:
March 8, 200818 yr Thunder, lightning and about an inch of ice in the Somerset area.. Should hear some dandy transformer fireworks if the power lines sag much more..

March 8, 200818 yr So far my 5 am flight out of CVG is still scheduled, but I dunno. Haven't even started packing yet because I'm not so sure I'll need to.I just got this message from my brother, out at the airport: It's dead here. Most flights were canceled. I did see a 757 and an Airbus de-icing as I came in. Lot of flights in the morning are either already canceled or significantly delayed.
