March 8, 200818 yr Time to buy a snowthrower. Hey BF, there is a snowblower just down the street from you. I even know a kid that will take care of you sidewalk, for a small fee.
March 8, 200818 yr A couple to 3 inches here in Prestonsburg. Waiting on the roads to get graded off now so I can head down the Mtn. Parkway to Lexington for the UK game in the morning! :thumb:
March 8, 200818 yr I meant for me. Or are you rubbing it in? :irked: Ohh! Well, the problem is...getting TO the snowblower!
March 8, 200818 yr How quickly this will all mealt will be a concern...I would bet River Road will be closed within 4 days.
March 8, 200818 yr If anyone is interested, from what I have heard, 75 south isn't too bad south of Williamstown. As long as there isn't an accident, traffic seems to be moving slowly and the the roads look to be fairly cleared off. I'm assuming that by now all the UK spring breakers have made it past the bad stuff and are very close to their destinations.
March 8, 200818 yr Here's a link to the Artimis cameras. I-75 looks okay. But check out 471 at Grand Avenue. It's a mess.
March 8, 200818 yr Like, I'm not a big global warming guy, but why havent we had a snow in more than 10 years? I remember freaking out when we got an ice storm in 96 because I'd never seen anything like it. We went out and tried to pley street hockey. Now we never ever get a snowstorm and ice is the norm. Discuss. I agree, we don't have as much snow as we used to. 1996 was the last blizzard warning we had, we also had a huge snow fall then, I think we had over 15" then. Then in 1998 we had another big one, about 22" fell in my area that storm. Back in the early 90s we had more than just one big storm a year, just not as much snow per storm as this one.
