Wow...an impressive win over a very impressive team.

Really disapointed that BG could not find a way to win this one but no doubt they were outmanned, congrats Birds

Way to go Birds!!!!!!!!!...........15-0 and STATE CHAMPS!!!!! I predicted the Birds to roll big in this one, and they proved me correct.

Highlands's preparation in the offseason and desire to do what it takes to win is unparalleled; when will the rest of the state match their effort??

 

I say "match" because to surpass their efforts is impossible.

 

I think you may be on to something. They expect excellence, and they are quite good at it. When you see a HHS team they don't blow you away with size but they are always one of the quickest teams you will see in this state. I don't think it's the water, it's the work. I may not be a Highlands fan but I have much respect for what they have accomplished.

Congrats to the BlueBirds,and Congrats to BG on a fine season.

Congratulations Blue Birds. I picked Bowling Green in this one because I did not want to see them lose three in a row. To much speed, quickness and strength exhibited by Highlands in this one. It was a great game to watch. Highlands' QB played excellent with both his legs and arm. Those passes were the ugliest most beautiful throws.

Both teams played well. IMO Highlands best is better than anyone else in 5A. I didn't think BG played bad. IMO Highlands is just that much better than everyone else this year. They worked hard, they earned it, they deserve it. I hope the young men at BG are proud of themselves and what they accomplished this year. They played well, but on this particular night they just lost to a good team.
