I can't say enough about what Tony did to help the Highlands faithful get to the stadium and get parked.

LJ is awsome. I like that when he meets people (like CC) it quickly turned into a competition (arm wrestle). I love that competative spirit.

 

It was also awsome to finally get to meet Rockmom. I can now see how Tony and Rockmom in the same room could spell t-r-o-u-b-l-e!:lol:

 

Friday was a great day! All my teams won and I got to hang for awhile with the legendary Tony and Rockmom!:thumb:

When was the last competitive 3A now 5A championship game? It seems like its been a while.

 

Note: I say that with all due respect to the BG Purple - 3 straight appearances is quite the feat.

That would have to be Highlands over Hopkinsville (21-14) in 1996.

Highlands talked the talk and walked the walk this season. Congrats on a great season. BG don't hang your heads you gave Trinity and Highlands all they wanted this season; how many teams can say that?

Awesome game by the Birds. The time of possession could have been worse if they ran the playclock down to 4 each time they had it. Excellent year and Congrats to every kid on that team. The Seniors, Good luck in your future !!! Underclassmen, hit the weights, train hard and carry on the tradition.

Does anyone think the Birds could have competed with the two Louisville powers?
