Final

What can you say? Highlands played a near perfect offensive game and were almost unstoppable on third down. Congratulations to the Bluebirds...you earned this one!

Way to go Birds!! NKY 2 down 1 to go. LETS GO BREDS!!

Wooohoooo!!!!! Congratulations to the 'Birds for winning the state's first 5A title and bringing number 17 home to Ft. Thomas! Wow... 15-0!!! Way to take it wire to wire!!!

Also, congrats to BGHS for a very strong season!

I really enjoyed listening to Bowling Green call on WBGN. I think the announcers were Ralph Thompson and Roy Beard, and they did an excellent job calling the game.

Super job Birds! Congratulations on your 11th? undefeated season and 17th state championship. Congratulations also to BG on a huge season and getting to their third straight championship game. Not too many teams have done that.

Congrats Highlands!! Highlands had the ball for 33+ minutes compared to 14+ for BG. Highlands was 8/13 on 3rd down while BG was only 2/9. Highlands ended up with 322 yards compared to 182 for BG. Highlands had 0 TOs to BG's 3. Josh Conner ended with 132 yards and 2 TDs.

Does anyone who know won the games MVP?

Who was player of the game?

Congrats Highlands on another title.

Keep pushing on B.G.

Somebody needs to call the KHSAA and have them fix the score. I thought I was going to come onto the board and find the Highland folks in gloom and doom mode.

Highlands's preparation in the offseason and desire to do what it takes to win is unparalleled; when will the rest of the state match their effort??

I say "match" because to surpass their efforts is impossible.

Ok serious post!!!
