Henry, You already know who I am. There's nothing about you and LN that would make me not want to talk to you. 2 very classy and polite upstanding citizens. By the way, did get to go into the the Gold Club seats or whatever they're called on patio of cafe. Those are really nice. It was awesome to see another NFL great in there aside from Mr. Collinsworth. I could get used to sitting over there. Not sure if I'm ready to pay that much yet though. Henry and LN, I will make a note to come talk to you at State Game. i think Pumpkin Patch is heading down to tailgate early.

I definately do not have enough of that and the little bit I do have we spend on that son of mine so he can play college football some day. You couldn't be more sadly mistaken about that! We may see you as a rival in the state titles race, but don't forget, we are in much the same boat in regard to the public/private debates and other statewide issues. NKY (and HHS in particular) has always been the staunchest supporter of the private schools' viewpoint.

 

Besides, everyone knows I'm the biggest Rock fan north of Sparta. So, it's disappointing not to see support from the folks in green.

We did support Boone in their match-up with you. But that's just a regional loyalty thing.

Man, its a good thing that we play on Friday, I don't know if I could wait another day to see this game.

Should be a good matchup, these two have been 1/2 in the rankings all season so they have been "expected" to make it to this point. HHS has a ton of team speed, and any of their offensive skilled players can take it to the house at any moment, they will score points, will BG be able to score when needed? I know I heard more than a few concerned Birds fans talking about the HHS perceived weakness (pass defense) and how BG had two very big pass catchers who could play a key role in the outcome. I know BG has a very good team but I just don't see this HHS team losing, Cecil is a true leader at QB, and like he stated on the Blitz last night, this group has been dreaming about being one of the GREATEST teams in HHS history, they may not win but BG will have to bring everything to derail this squad.

I forgot to mention that, before the BGHS game, the most points Owensboro gave up in any game was 22 points. The Purples had 35 and were driving for another score, but Coach Kevin Wallace decided to use up as much of the clock as possible.

They don't play in NKY. That's why.

The BG Park City Daily News Commentator, Daniel Pike, stated that "I'm not the sort to make early predictions, but my early sense is that Friday's game won't be a disappointment".

 

Just to let you know, he wasn't talking about Highlands. That is a very powerful motivation, having lost the last two championship games, than not wanting to make it three losses in a row.
