    They grew up in Covington and only left for one year. They came back out of necessity not for athletics.

    Very true. They went to middle and grade school in Covington, then moved over the river. This happens rather often in the Covington school districts.

    False. In 1997 Holy Cross, Holmes, and Covington Catholic all drew into the same side of the 35th District Tourney. Holmes beat HC and Cov. Cath. and beat Ludlow in the final.
