Best team in the 9th Region hands down. Pittman, Johnson bros, Housley should handle most of the scoring. They will be fun to watch and I can gurantee they will probably have more dunks than turnovers.

Holmes is loaded and is a legit top 3 or 4 team at the least I would think. But basketball in Northern Ky is pretty good. I am sure they will be test some in their own region. They should have a great season.

I agree that Holmes is going to be a tough team to handle this year. A lot of balance and a lot of talent will add up to be a top 5 team.

 

Another thing I really like about Holmes is their chemistry. There's some dynamite kids there that really play hard and I know their coach will have a great deal of fun coaching and working with them this year.

It's going to be a fun year to watch basketball in Covington. They are going to be very good as everyone knows. Watch out for Jemel Riley also, he can shoot the lights out.

I thoght Nky basketball had a big down grade from last year? :confused:

Holmes if they stay healthy should really dominate up in the 9th Region this year. Their athleticism is unbelievable. They are all coachable kids unlike some past teams and if Riley can handle the point and distribute I dont see them being stopped at all.

Still teams are well coached in that area in general and will play hard. I am guessing they will be tested some in their region. They may not lose many games if any, but they will be tested in that particular area IMO.

Your first sentece to me is really the key. If they stay healthy they will be extremely difficult to beat in March.

I would say Ricardo Johnson will be. He seems like he is more consistent while Pittman seems a little more flashy. Both are very good.

I think that their depth is incredible, and while they can't lose Ricardo or Elijah, IMO they could lose a few other guys to injury and fill slots.

I think that the key to there season will be Riley. I think he is a very talented player and should shine being the number one point guard. He will give them a solid shooter and keep defenders honest.

 

I felt he was the better point guard last year and should have seen more time.

 

It will be interesting to see how he handles being the number one point guard.
